1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Anything Converter ("Service," "we," "our," or "us"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Anything Converter is a file conversion platform that allows users to convert files between various formats, including:

  • Image formats (PNG, JPG, WebP, HEIC, SVG, etc.)
  • Video formats (MP4, AVI, MOV, WebM, etc.)
  • Audio formats (MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, etc.)
  • Document formats (PDF, DOCX, TXT, etc.)
  • Archive formats (ZIP, RAR, TAR, etc.)

We offer both client-side (browser-based) and server-side conversion processing, depending on the file type.

3. User Accounts and Subscriptions

3.1 Free Tier

Free users receive:

  • 5 conversions per day
  • Maximum file size: 100MB per file
  • Maximum 3 files per batch
  • Access to all supported formats (200+)
  • 90% of conversions processed locally (client-side)
  • Maximum privacy & security
  • Ad-supported experience

3.2 Premium Subscription (€3.99/month)

Premium subscribers receive:

  • Unlimited conversions per day
  • Maximum file size: 500MB per file (200MB for video/audio)
  • Up to 20 files per batch
  • All formats (200+ supported)
  • No advertisements
  • Files never uploaded (90% of conversions)
  • Server files auto-deleted after 5 minutes

3.3 Yearly Subscription (€39/year)

Yearly subscribers receive:

  • All Premium features
  • Save 17% vs monthly subscription
  • Billed once per year

3.4 Lifetime License (€69 one-time)

Lifetime license holders receive:

  • All Premium features
  • Lifetime access - pay once, use forever
  • No recurring fees
  • All future updates included

4. Payment and Billing

4.1 Subscription Payments

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

4.2 Refund Policy

• Premium & Yearly Subscriptions: Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with the service.
• Lifetime License: Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium or Yearly subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months/years.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use our Service to:

  • Upload or convert illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content without authorization
  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise our systems
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission
  • Abuse our service through excessive requests or resource consumption
  • Resell or redistribute our service without authorization

Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

6. File Processing and Privacy

6.1 Client-Side Processing

Most conversions (images, videos, audio) are processed entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

6.2 Server-Side Processing

Some document conversions (approximately 10%) are processed on our server. Files are:

  • Transmitted securely via HTTPS
  • Processed immediately
  • Automatically deleted within 5 minutes
  • Never stored permanently or shared with third parties

6.3 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of files you upload. We do not monitor or review uploaded files, but we may remove content that violates these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

All content, features, and functionality of our Service (including but not limited to design, text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by Anything Converter and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to files you upload. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing conversion services. We do not claim ownership of your files.

7.3 Commercial Use

All users (Free, Premium, Yearly, and Lifetime) may use the Service for both personal and commercial purposes. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and regulations.

8. Service Availability and Limitations

8.1 Service Uptime

We strive to provide 99.9% uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

8.2 Conversion Limits

• Free Users: 5 conversions per day
• Premium/Yearly/Lifetime: Unlimited (subject to fair use policy)

8.3 File Size Limits

• Free Users: 100MB per file
• Premium/Yearly/Lifetime: 500MB per file (200MB for video/audio due to browser memory constraints)

8.4 Batch Processing Limits

• Free Users: Maximum 3 files per batch
• Premium/Yearly/Lifetime: Up to 20 files per batch

8.5 Fair Use Policy

Premium, Yearly, and Lifetime users have "unlimited" conversions, but excessive use that impacts service performance may be subject to rate limiting. We define "excessive" as significantly beyond typical user behavior.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 "AS IS" Service

Our Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.2 Conversion Quality

We strive for high-quality conversions, but we do not guarantee perfect results. Conversion quality may vary depending on file format, complexity, and other factors.

9.3 Data Loss

We are not responsible for any data loss. Always keep backups of your original files.

9.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anything Converter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Unauthorized access to your files or data
  • Errors, bugs, or interruptions in the Service
  • Any other matter relating to the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anything Converter, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Content you upload or convert

11. Modifications to Service and Terms

11.1 Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

11.2 Terms Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11.3 Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified 30 days before any price increase. Lifetime license holders are not affected by price changes.

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may stop using our Service at any time. Premium and Yearly subscribers can cancel their subscription from their account settings.

12.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Abuse the Service
  • Fail to pay subscription fees

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. No refunds for terminated accounts due to Terms violations.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Vienna, Austria.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Anything Converter regarding the Service.
